Jamal is a Registered Nurse and the director of healthcare services for Briarwood Home Health and Interim Hospice. He has been with Interim Healthcare of Oakland County for 10 years and is currently pursuing his master's in nursing.  Jamal holds a national registry for Emergency Medical Technicians and is a certified ICD-10 coder. Through his work with the agency, Jamal oversees the clinical development of the staff, initiates new programs and quality initiatives and oversees the regulatory compliance of the agency to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services standards.  Jamal was born and raised in the metro Detroit area, where he lives with his husband, Patryk, and dogs Rayna and Eli. Jamal stays active with lobbying changes from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and is an active participant in discussion panels for the National Association of Home Care and Hospice, as well as being a featured speaker for Decision Health.
