Interim Hospice of Oakland County improves a person’s quality of life when time is limited. We provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to our patients, and those that love and care for them. As a member of our Hospice team, a Volunteer has a tremendous impact on the lives of the patients and families we serve, no matter what your role.
Direct Patient Care Services may include:
Providing companionship at the bedside
Playing games or reading
Reminiscing
Light household chores
Running errands
Plus more!
Administrative Services may include:
Filing and organizing documents
Copying documents
Assisting with agency mailings
Organizing supplies
Plus more!
Special Project services may include assisting
with fundraising efforts, researching information for staff, assisting staff at
community events, plus more. Do you have a skill/hobby/interest you
feel may benefit our families? We can create an individualized volunteer
role specific to your skillset and interests! All volunteers must be 16+ yrs of age, and 18+ yrs of age for home visits.
